Written on the train from Providence RI to NYC one day, further making use of custom stochastic algorithms, in a more accessible way than Crash Test Pavillion B. These were the halcyon days.

This work was inspired by Xenakis' book Formalized Music. I designed custom DSP in Synthedit based on Xenakis concept of synchronous stochastic clouds (fragments of recorded samples arranged randomly within specified frequency ranges over time, in synchronous microrhythmic intervals)to create everything in this track, from the sound washes to the percussion heard in the second half of the piece. Created by commission for the Epoxy festival in Montreal (2007) and performed again at Brown University, RI in 2009.

Released by the former digital arts journal vagueterrain.net as part of the longer work 'Blotted' in 2011. Celebratory auditory pareidolia/apophenia, influenced by the detuned vibrato and buried layers in MBV's Loveless, and classic 20th C experiments with repeating vocal fragments (eg Steve Reich's "It's gonna rain.")

Part of a longer work called 1-9, this incorporates layers of noise and custom sample mulching/dsp into a sort of shoegaze idm genre hybrid that I'm calling mousegazer(because it involves a lot of mouse clicking instead of guitar pedals). Also uses a lot of GRM tools.
