The rāga saga is a series that acts as a cultural collectiva of our favourite artists from all over, Each raga is an array of melodic structures with musical motifs, considered in the Indian tradition to have the ability to "colour the mind" and affect the emotions of the audience and this journey (raga) comes from the beautiful @alimaemusic

She is Inspired by the diversity and authenticity of world music, ali mae takes you on a sonic journey by weaving together a blanket of multi-cultural deep house. her sound evokes a sense of distant nostalgia and subconscious familiarity, incorporating elements from and rhythms of ancient tribal communities, which have been deeply engrained in our souls. through energetic exchange of music and dance, she aims to unite her crowd and engage with the communion on the dance floor to spread joy and ultimately raise the collective consciousness.

About The Unknown Psychologist :

Chris has fallen into electronic music since a young age ... already in the 80's, he had fun creating beats on Amstrad CPC 6128 !
In the 90s, he switched to AMIGA (Soundtracker) then PC (Reason). In parallel, he discovers the mix, first on vinyls, then for more than 15 years in digital.

His early musical influences are tinged with EBM Industrial (Front 242, Cabaret Voltaire, Front Line Assembly ...), then the time of the first Raves led him to the Hard Techno. After exploring a lot of style, Chris navigates now between deep, dub and hypnotic Techno

So happy to announce our guest this week, Helge Misof.
As a result of an instant friendship on a recent visit to Poland, I had the opportunity to hear him play and talk so much.
He is a vinyl lover, intimately involved in the local Hamburg scene in Germany.
His sound is deep, hypnotic, rhythmic patterns that evoke a uniquely layered dimension to his sets.
Master of an impressive technique and an appetite for extensive sets, which tell stories and leave no one indifferent.
Nothing else is needed to describe Helge sound and his unique passion than the music itself.
It is a great honour to have his contribution to this podcast series!!

Neel is about as much of an Interdimensional Transmissions person as you can get. Cofounder of Voices From The Lake, a powerful and sensitive DJ from an early age, mastering engineer at Enisslab in Rome, he even is a partner in a record pressing plant. He does everything yet still finds the space to get specific in his internal investigations for the Disco Quarantine EP. Exploring the boundaries between genres, simultaneously pure deep techno and disco — this is rarely achieved — he continues to explore the edges with the ever propulsive title cut, and further connections with each song. Psychedelic, propulsive, subtle, perfectly produced gems ranging from hedonistic underground moments where time ceases to exist to moments of exploration throughout the cosmos. It feels like the B side opener Deep Quarantine was composed for the environment at No Way Back, though it is equally eternal and available to any floor anywhere in the world. This EP comes in black or color vinyl with the new IT cosmic sleeve that debuted with Erika’s remix EP. The digital version contains the bonus track “Acid Quarantine”.

Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the Greek dj & producer ANFS  (Vanila // Modal Analysis).

ANFS is an electronic music producer and DJ based in Athens, Greece. 
From an early age, he engaged in various musical projects, eventually gravitating towards electronic music, experimental electronics, and unconventional sounds during his studies in sound design. 
In 2012, alongside friends Kondaktor and 3.14, he co-founded the record label Modal Analysis, aiming to document and promote Greece's burgeoning electronic scene. 
Expanding his curatorial endeavors, he launched his personal imprint, Vanila, in 2015, further solidifying his influence in the electronic music landscape.

ANFS's discography showcases his evolution as an artist. 
His early work includes the Ground EP (2014) on Modal Analysis, characterized by its rhythmic intensity and incorporation of early 20th-century Greek folk elements. 
He continued to explore dark, industrial soundscapes with releases like Mass (2017) and The Age of Ephemeral Man (2018). 
In 2019, he released Havouza, further refining his signature blend of distorted textures and complex rhythms.
In 2021, ANFS unveiled #011 on Vanila Records, demonstrating a matured sound that seamlessly fuses experimental electronics with dancefloor sensibilities. 
The following year, he released the Seperator EP (2022), a six-track project that delves into experimental industrial noise, featuring tracks like "Klepsimo" and "Piperi," which highlight his ability to blend traditional motifs with contemporary electronic production.
Beyond his solo work, ANFS has contributed remixes for various artists and participated in compilations, such as his track "Amete" featured on the V/A release by Analogue. 
His collaborations and remixes underscore his versatility and commitment to pushing the boundaries of electronic music.
Through his innovative productions and dedication to fostering the Greek electronic music community, ANFS continues to be a pivotal figure in the experimental and industrial techno scenes.

We are glad to propose his kindly given set recorded on July 12th @ Astron Club in Athens.

Hailing from Santiago de Chile, eclectic talent Marcelo Antonio is a formidable voice for deep, mind-bending techno. Since 2018 the DJ/Producer has been putting out a growing number of releases on labels like Float, Keyhole, Methodical, Antiterra, EVOD Music, and delivered killer sets across his native Chile and Europe, honing a class of sound that’s full-bodied, deep and geared for marathon raves. His self-published work via Bandcamp-only outlet Out of Sight too, offers a further glimpse into his intimate studio workings: high-concept and movement driven tracks that foment rhythmic contemplation. His frequent collaborators include widely recognised industry staples like Kwartz, DVS1, Kr!z, Ruben Ganev, TWR72, Border One, Biri and Samuli Kempi, a sounding board comprised of peers that share in his passion for primal loops. It’s an elegant techno that layers up textures and builds up tension second by second, and steers its bow towards a distant and euphoric horizon. This master of mood is here with a number that’ll push your body and mind to the limit, liminal techno that hypnotises and fringes the frontier of techno. Uun's techno blends widescreen grayscale imagery with propulsive dancefloor pressure. Whether crafting what Hardwax dubs "straight ahead techno juggernauts" or deep, introspective  tools, his work is grounded in a masterful command of atmosphere and texture.

Uun developed his interest in fringe sounds as a guitarist and drummer in his hometown of Kansas City before shifting his attention to electronic music in 2012. This led him to relocate to Detroit, where he spent seven years pushing deeper into the underground techno scene, refining his production and performance methods. Between the Midwest and several periods in
Berlin—another city he's found a deep connection to—he's honed a style that's allowed his music to nimbly navigate between different subgenres, "quietly infiltrating" the genre from multiple angles at once.

Uun's sound and his ability to mold it into a variety of forms has captured the attention of lauded techno labels like Mord, Semantica, and Soma. On his own Ego Death imprint, he pushes past genre confines and deeper into his music's underlying themes, exploring existentialism, duality, and the role of the artist in the modern era. His first full length, 2022's Derealization, interrogated
dreams through rebuilding memories of liminal spaces, and on his latest Ego Death release, 2024's Platform Decay, he laces his tracks with a poignant criticism of social media-driven cultural homogenization while doubling down on his own uncompromising sound.

As a live performer, Uun distills years of his studio practice into cathartic sets that build off his productions while pushing them into exploratory new territory. His live show has taken him to legendary clubs like Berlin's Tresor, Tbilisi's Khidi, Detroit's Movement Festival, and Brookyln's
Basement, and alongside the decade-plus of releases under his belt, it's safe to say Uun's infiltration of techno might not be so quiet for much longer.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.
