Jordin Post returns to Anjunabeats with the ‘Azure EP’. 

Jordin cut his teeth making progressive trance as Juventa, before turning to melodic bass music as part of KUURO. He made his debut on Anjunabeats in May 2020 with ‘something2me / New Day’. The former became a favourite of BBC Radio 1’s Scott Mills.

Inspired by the changing of the seasons in his native Amsterdam, Jordin’s ‘Azure EP’ marks the next step in his broad journey as an artist.

Scandinavian production duo anamē release ‘Bermondsey Bender’, the fourth single from their upcoming debut album on Anjunabeats.

Marcus Schössow and Thomas Sagstad have been planning, plotting and dreaming anamē for two decades. First coming together at a house party in Helsingborg, Sweden, Marcus and Thomas bonded over a love of artists (Sasha or early Tiesto), labels (Strictly Rhythm, Defected), ethics (“We both wanted to work hard for our dreams”) and ideas.

‘Bermondsey Bender’ is a nod to the South London neighbourhood where the Anjunabeats office and Above & Beyond studio are based. The final single to be released ahead of their debut album, it captures the spirit and liveliness of the district.

“That song is about how we spent so much time down there – but it's not actually about a drunken night!” Marcus says. “It's just about how that area of London has this energy. And you kinda leave with that energy, feeling completely drunk. Drunk on energy and good vibes.”

“Very accurately put,” agrees Thomas. “When we're there, we're running between the office and the studios and the hotel. It's this triangle of streets. And you're so full of energy and adrenaline because you're trying to make everything happen while you're there. So I think that track is a good representation of us, and the album. It's fun to play with the whole bender idea. It's not really about that. But it still feels the same – in a positive way!”

anamē got their new album campaign off to a blistering start with the release of 'Anywhere (Road Trippin')', which was added to Sirius XM BPM and saw support from Don Diablo, Oliver Heldens, Tiësto, Korolova, Mees Salomé, Sultan + Shepard and more. Over the coming weeks and months, the band will be pulling back the curtain on how an album comes together, through their social media channels and on their ‘It’s a Beautiful World’ podcast series.

anamē ‘Bermondsey Bender’ is out now on Anjunabeats. The duo recently joined Above & Beyond at their Group Therapy Weekender festivities at The Gorge as well as our Anjunabeats Outdoors shows in New York City and Denver, and will soon feature at our Anjunabeats shows in Montréal, London and Amsterdam. First up we have the Serbian super producer known to the world as Vintage & Morelli, no stranger to the scene, no introduction needed to describe the sounds that have been formulated by this notable talent throughout the years. His twist on the mellow original takes a visit to the deeper side, making it unbearably intoxicating as each pulse of the sound used climbs into your senses like chocolate melting in a blazing heat. The wonderfully smooth aura is built right away with the thudding percussions masked with the airy chords & pianos melding together. It highlights the sensuous vocals expertly, forming together to create something so blissful that you can’t help but feel yourself being tugged into the wind. The signature piano stabs & subtle kicks drenched with the bass undertones give an upbeat feel, for those that crave the active side. The breakdown using the strings is well suited to increase the momentum of it being launched back into that smooth sailing drive again. What a rendition to start off with & nothing less from the expert talent that has worked magic into this remix.

An EP that is tremendously appealing in every way possible, these artists have delivered something that cannot be replicated in such a manner. The thought, emotion & skill gone into each one can be heard through every second & nothing less was expected from this dynamic trio of producers.
