AŬSKULTI is a collaborative project curated by Johano Nadabindu from the TUTMONDA sound label. Its main focus is to unite musicians from all over, showcasing their talent, language, and creativity on tracks that are primarily improvised.  
VIVO is the first collaborative track that combines recordings made in person and at a distance.  

Process:  
Johano recorded an improvised piece with a transverse bamboo flute and then added a djembe groove and an udu experiment. He sends the master file to Jörg, who records his own flute in dialogue with Johano's flute. After some editing, Johano invites Francisco Morato to record electric bass on the track.  
Johano ended up editing the track until it reached its final form.  
VIVO means ALIVE, and it is a celebration of life after a close encounter with the possibility of death.

AŬSKULTI is a collaborative project curated by Johano Nadabindu from the TUTMONDA sound label. Its main focus is to unite musicians from all over, showcasing their talent, language, and creativity on tracks that are primarily improvised.
CHANCE is the second release of a group of collaborative tracks that combines recordings made in person and at a distance.

Process:
Johano recorded a guitar track, and then a djembe track. Sent the stems to Henry, who incredibly gave life to what was a draft, and created a multi track universe of textures and sounds. He added bass, saxophone, vocals, bells, tibetan bowls and kotamo, giving CHANCE a chance to became an entire different sonic spell. Henry sent the STEMS back, and Johano mixed them.

LOVE IS ALL is a collaboration track originally created for a different project with the wonderful input of Jörg S and Steve Coombes on soprano saxophones. It's an exploration between fixed harmony and free improvisation.

Process:
João Svayam was creating the project ALGUMAS VISÕES in 2022 https://soundcloud.com/joaomsousa/sets/algumas-visoes-vol-1 , and was gathering sounds for the second volume. Hey recorded some keys with a VST plug in, and then mixed some improv drums recorded aroud 2021. He then sent it to Jörg S and Steve Coombes at the same time! And the result was amazing : João felt like the three of them were playing in the same room!

AŬSKULTI is a collaborative project curated by Johano Nadabindu (aka João Svayam ) from the TUTMONDA sound label. Its main focus is to unite musicians from all over, showcasing their talent, language, and creativity on tracks that are primarily improvised.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING is the first track created with this idea of real time composition and the fusion of traditional sounds with an experimental approach.
PROCESS: João record a first classic guitar track on the spot, first take, totally improvised. Then added new guitar layers, with improvised solos. Next a bass. Then some effects on those tracks, and some experimenting with words "There's no such thing as too much thoughts". The two sections of the song were born with the first guitar track, so there was no later rearranging. After some months, when another 7 tracks where recorded, João sent the album to Nuno Mangas Viegas (TUTMONDA's art work and conceptualization artist), and while reflecting with him about this album a lot unsatisfactory impressions came by regarding the concept, the result and the sound. So João gave it a rest, recorded some new stuff and THERE'S NO SUCH THING got some drums and new mix. Here's the final result. The first track of LA VOKO!

PAŜO POST PAŜO, SAVITA was born out of a beat, an improvised groovy bass loop, and some vst piano and rhodes also improvised. After that João sent the track to Jörg, who added the saxophone tracks! And voila!

«Distant Call is an album created remotely, cooked about 2 years ago by drum recordings by João Svayam (three drum tracks) and the additions of various instruments by Leonel Cardoso (who recycled these three drum tracks to create these themes that we have here today, in addition to other b sides). By that time both were collaborating on a improvisation band called Salamandra, connected to our sister label Partícula Records.
Distant Call is just like a time travel: between pure science fiction and impossible-to-deny facts born from any conspiracy theory.»
