This new VA brings together a powerful lineup of artists who resonate with the label’s spirit and future: Fabio Florido, UNER, Edgar De Ramon, Nobuharu Morimoto, Viktor Abai, and Jfernandez.

TUTU X 02 is a tribute to the label’s evolving identity — rooted in underground techno, shaped by over 50 releases, and powered by a global community committed to creative freedom and sonic integrity.

Cha’s journey is an ongoing evolution — driven by sound, shaped by defiance. Under ItsforCha she explores movement and expression; as Cha, she delves into raw, unfiltered depths. Her style blends hypnotic grooves with stripped‑down grit, moving through minimal tech, groovy techno, acid‑tinged wonk, post‑club chaos, and sub‑heavy introspection. Music is both refuge and rebellion — a place to bend the rules and rewrite the narrative.

This mix is a raw, unfiltered snapshot of her inner world, shaped by the places, cultures, and emotions that define her. It opens with hypnotic, dreamy and nostalgic tones touched by fragments of her roots, before shifting into deeper, more percussive textures. UK influences, industrial grooves, and techno that feels alive run through the set, with contrasts between smooth and raw, hypnotic and chaotic. It closes with African‑inspired rhythms, bringing the journey full circle.

BCCO Mix Series 658: Cha.

Fergus Sweetland is a Melbourne-born, London-based artist known for his wonky, wobbly, and rhythm-driven take on contemporary techno. Blending texture, atmosphere, and groove, his music crafts immersive narratives that tap into instinct and emotion. His DJ sets echo the same spirit—dynamic, playful, and always evolving.

A core member of the Hayes Collective, Fergus has released on respected labels such as Illegal Alien, NRBK, Connection Verified, and his own imprint, Pressure Systems. The label reflects his belief that sound is pressure, and music is its system—a platform for total creative freedom and raw self-expression.

This mix was recorded in July 2025 at The Glove That Fits as the closing set for Fossil Archive. The concept was to present an album in the context of a DJ set - something I’d been wanting to explore for a while. For this first attempt, I chose Spread by Heiko Laux. Heiko is like an older brother to me, so it felt special to honour his work in this way. You could say it was a Heiko Laux night.

Sara had her first performance in front of a larger audience in February 2021. Initially, she focused around fast and hard varieties of techno with a bit of a trancy vibe. After some time, she turned towards lighter but not slower sounds. Currently, she draws her main inspirations from the French scene and a fairly young variety of groove techno, a delicate, fast paced kick intertwined with numerous sounds. She contributes to the scene through Theia Crush, a relatively new project through which she can implement numerous ideas related in broad sense organization of events.
