it's called "toneland" because the casio VL-tone sample hard-carried this entire collection. Originally planned to be just a trilogy, I ended up writing one more track, loaded with the SPC spirit.

✦ [Walking down the street, you make it to your mom's friend's house, also known as... Ara's House.]
✦ [You notice a massive tank in the driveway.]
✦ (What?? Look at that thing!)
✦ (Does she drive that?)
✦ (Still??)
✦ [You walk closer to the tank.]
✦ Huddy: H-Hey.. Hey Ruby.. Be careful Ruby! Be careful Ruby!! CAREFUL RUBY!!! You shouldn't do that.. she's scary!!
✦ (Oh, hush! She's fine! She'd never lay a hand on me!)
✦ [The tank door blasts open as Ara jumps out, grabbing you by the shirt and lifting you in the air.]
✦ [You can already smell the alcohol...]
✦ Ara: HAHA!! RUBY!! YOU'RE HERE!! HAHA!
✦ [Ara laughs as she gives you a hug, almost falling over.]
✦ Ara: A-Ahaha~ pardon me.. I'm a little woozy, if you know what I mean!
✦ [Ruby giggles and smiles, finding Ara funny.]
✦ [Huddy.. stands still, not moving a muscle, visibly afraid.]
✦ Ara: Woahh hey hey hey.. Who's your friend, huuh? 
✦ [Ara stumbles over to Huddy and leans on him with one arm]
✦ Ara: Heyy big guy you from around here?! Ahaha!!
✦ [Ara leans back, catching herself from falling.]
✦ Huddy: I-I have a w-
✦ Ara: Oh, please partner! You're not even my type! I was just messin'.
✦ (I don't really know what to say! You know why I'm here already, right? My mom's been setting up this entire trip for me almost.. At least the safety precautions of it.)
✦ Ara: Of course, of course partner!
✦ Ara: Your mooooom told me everythin', don't you worry - I'll be helping you out if you need me while you're here.
✦ Ara: Just while you're here though.. I'm not going to New Itance or Russia.. Or wherever the hell you and your.. buddy are goin'.
✦ [Ruby nods, smiling.]
✦ Ara: Well! Ruby! We're practically family, why don't you come into my house and rest up? I reckon it's been a long trip so far.
✦ Ara: Just pardon my uh.. Alcohol bottle pyramid collection when you walk in..
✦ Ara: Please.. don't bump into it..
✦ [Ara laughs and leads you the way into her house, while Huddy slowly and carefully follows.]

A cover of one of my most favorite funky little tunes that I have actually been meaning to make for a while! I just sucked at transcribing things for the longest time (still kinda do...) and the MIDI that existed of the song wasnt all too great in terms of accuracy, plus transcribing stuff tends to be more fun!

✦ [Once Nova and Wayne arrive here, Wayne properly introduces Nova to his father, Gaido. They talk for a long while about where Nova is truly from and why he is here.]
✦ [Wayne and Gaido seem very accepting of Nova, allowing him to stay with them in the Temple of D. Jack until he can set off and find his own home somewhere.]

✦ Wayne: Hey, brother. I was wondering, ever since you took off your glasses earlier... I couldn't help but notice you had those bandages wrapped around your eye there.
✦ Nova: Oh, this? Uhm. 
✦ Gaido: Hnm. Now that you are mentioning it, I feel a sensation coming from under those bandages. 
✦ Gaido: It is a certain kind of energy that is very familiar to me.
✦ [Gaido slowly rises from his throne and walks to Nova.]
✦ [He comes close to Nova's eyes and stares into them closely.]
✦ [Surprisingly, both of Gaido's eyes darken as those glowing plus symbols appear into his own eyes.]
✦ [He has two Tenka eyes.]
✦ [The energy from them sends chills down Nova's spine.]
✦ Nova: S-So- It's not just me?
✦ [Nova takes the bandages off, revealing his Tenka eye.]
✦ Gaido: Aho, I knew it. 
✦ Gaido: It would only make sense you'd have one of those after you told me what happened to your sister, no.
✦ [Wayne is across the room with his jaw to the floor, in awe at the sight of Nova having a Tenka at such a young age.]

✦ [The three of them discuss things for a bit longer before Wayne and Nova decide to go out into the City in search for Antonio, Wayne's little brother.]
