The band called TV FACE are a post-punk/noise-rock band from Lancaster (UK). Expect weird guitar combined with a tight and heavy rhythm section, laced with deranged yet tuneful boy-girl vocals. A classic three-piece, they have been compared to Braniac, McClusky, Minutemen, and Pixies.

The band called TV FACE’s debut album Tide of Men releases in September 2023 on Crackedankles Records, home to Evil Blizzard, Thank, Hot Wax and more. The self-produced album recorded partly in an old church, and partly in a bungalow in rural Lancashire, is mastered by Pete Maher (White Stripes, Pixies).

Their songs rage at the expectation that we should put a brave face on while we’re being kept out, pushed down and held under; each song a short, sharp clap back to the keep-calm-and-carry-on-gang. Gloriously, riotously, unashamedly angry, with a dash of indignation, and a soupçon of incredulity.

The band called TV FACE are a gang-of-three from Lancaster (UK). They are known for their ear-blistering and intense live shows, and described as “a wonderful trident of piercing guitar, bass and drums, unified by vocals through the torrent of hot noise, thunderous rumble and acid-scuzz” (Louder Than War). Gloriously, riotously, unashamedly angry, with a dash of indignation, and a soupçon of incredulity, their songs rage at the expectations of the keep-calm-and-carry-on-gang.

Their debut album Tide of Men was released on 22 September 2023 on Evil Blizzard’s label Crackedankles Records (who have released Evil Blizzard, Thank, Hot Wax, Fighting, and more), and it was been named album of the week by Louder Than War, Kool Strings, Loose Cannon, and was one of Operation X-Ray's albums of the year.

The self-produced album was recorded partly in an old church, and partly in a bungalow in rural Lancashire, and mastered by Pete Maher (White Stripes, Pixies). The first single - I knew a girl I didn’t know here - was released as a limited edition lathe-cut 7” single that sold out in a couple of hours. 

TV FACE have been played by, amongst others, Huw Stephens on Radio One, tipped as one to watch by Tom Robinson (6Music), playlisted by John Kennedy (Radio X), championed by BBC Music Introducing Lancashire, Frank Skinner (Absolute Radio) and Mat Baty (Pigsx7, Amazing Radio).
