Few artists have enough energy to create a powerhouse at any venue they take on nor have enough fuel to burn at full throttle.  Recording artists Twang and Round prove to all who encounter them that they have what it takes to achieve all this and more, connecting the musical roads that lead from drawling small towns to the grit of big cities.
The musical career of Kuntry Twang and ‘Lil Round began in their early teens with a mutual love of music, recording, producing and engineering.  Discovering the ways that they complement each other they embarked on a recording career that has spanned a decade, covered many miles and has an enormously versatile following.  The style of music they create commands one to listen closely:  From their first collaboration of Blueprint for the Comeup to the recent compilation Work Release Program, all signs point to success.
Kuntry Twang b. Vernon Roach was born and raised in Kentucky where a large genre of music inspired him at an early age.  He started singing in the church choir and as he grew so did the influences surrounding him.  With a rough upbringing right in the heart of Delafield, music was often a savior of a sense; an emotional outlet.  And through poetry as well, when Kuntry Twang’s pen touched pad, magic ensued creating verse and prose that was true to life.  He would go on to put these emotions into lyrics thus creating the songs that strike a chord with many.  Being such a versatile artist, Kuntry Twang also heads up the southern rock band, Minimum Wage, as lead singer and songwriter.
‘Lil Round b. Brad Davis was also born and raised in the Kentucky heartland where family played an inspirational role in his career choice.  Growing up listening to old time country and bluegrass on the radio,  it seems ‘Lil Round has always had an ear for music.  Feeling the beat and rhythm of each and every musical bar he encountered fed his desire to make his own way in the world of music.  Starting with recording his own beats on his MTV Music Generator, ‘Lil Round’s talents progressed far beyond what other artists around him were accomplishing.  In time, he would become the producer/engineer that up and coming artists grappled to work with, guaranteeing pristine sound quality and fire beats to be compared to even the most professional of studios.
‘Lil Round’s journey led him to meet up with Kuntry Twang where together, they founded their own record label and recording studio, Bluegrass Cheddar.  There, with state of the art equipment, they write, record, engineer and produce hit after banging hit for themselves and for others, as a business endeavor.  Although well versed in all ranges of music, Kuntry Twang and ‘Lil Round’s passion lie in southern rap and rock, which is evident in their previous six albums.  The two have collaborated with numerous artists including Grammy winners Nappy Roots, Haystak, Big Smo and the underground rap champ, Brabo Gator. They are currently hard at work, grinding out hit after hit on their new album, Still At Large, a follow up to 2011’s Work Release Program which has seen tremendous success and support from all across the demographic s.
While the road to success thus far has been long, with many a mile spent pounding pavement,  it is a dream that continues still.  Through hard work and determination, Twang & Round are sure to see their sought after dreams realized and continue to connect those long, winding roads from state to state…with music.
