Summer is officially over. It feels like it flew by, at least for me it did. Around the beginning of the summer I came up with an idea to create a project that would not only describe my summer but several other's as well. Summer is about going out, having fun, getting away from your problems, being braggadocios, being in your fucking bag and indulging in your preferred vice(s) whether it's drugs, alcohol and/or women. The reason why I have so many features on this project is because people tend to spend their summer days/nights around company, making new memories and moments. I wanted to do the same with music, I wanted to have fun, have moments with different artists which would later include you, the listener, and you can enjoy it with us as well. This project is nothing but fun music; music for you to get lit too, music for you to reflect to when you're drunk as fuck or high as hell, music for you to vibe to when you're with your shorty or your niggas. "Brown Water, Black Coffee." symbolizes how your summer could've/should've gone. "Brown Water" usually means Hennessy but in this context, it's your preferred drink of choice whether it's vodka, tequila, beer, whatever. It represents you going out and enjoying your night. "Black Coffee" represents the day after a great night. Some people drink black coffee to to get over a hangover. Some don't, some have other remedies. Some don't even get hangovers. Black coffee represents the continuation of your summer, looking forward to the next day. The next set of memories and moments. Hopefully this project hit at least one aspect of your summer. I present to you: "Brown Water, Black Coffee."
