Making his debut on Twelve Points Records, local powerhouse DJ Bins returns to production and delivers his signature groove in this EP. With two tracks for the dancefloor, this release is sure to get people's bodies moving.

The first track Purgation is a warm soulful groove with a hypnotic vocal sample and a captivating build, that gets the crowd pumped up like any proper house banger should.

The second track On The Upswing is an energetic house party-starter that cheekily samples Roland Clark's seminal hit "I Get Deep", making it a solid club weapon to keep in your back pocket.

A collaboration we’ve been itching to release for quite some time: a three-track EP by hometown favourite Saint Guel and More Rice (Bangkok) co-founder DOTT, our adopted Pinoy.

‘Traffic Freak’ kicks off this EP with a suspenseful yet hypnotic sound, shrouded in an air of mystery that could be plucked straight out of The Twilight Zone.

The release then evolves into an electronic groove with ‘We Scream,’ marked by a playful dissonance that warps space and time.

Last but not least, ‘In A Lush’ bookends the EP with a sexy, wistful longing, while toying with the record’s theme of curiosity and exploration.

We can't wait to see what's next for these two talented producers.

We are proud to release our first-ever compilation album: Pathways. This release is extra special to us because it marks our one-year anniversary this February 9th.

Since its inception last year, Twelve Points Records has been dedicated to pushing boundaries and fostering a community of creativity. This compilation album marks a milestone in our label’s journey, celebrating a year of groundbreaking releases and a growing family of artists, collaborators, and fans. 

The 12-track compilation, titled Twelve Points Records Vol. 1: Pathways, is a testament to the rich tapestry of electronic music in Southeast Asia, blending genres such as techno, house, ambient, breaks, and other dance music, reflecting the complex nuances that define the region’s sound. Featured artists include More Rice label co-founder DOTT ( @dott_th )(Bangkok); HomeBP label head and certified Ableton wizard, Mishouju ( @mishouju ) (Hanoi); and Filipino favorite fresh from his Panorama Bar debut last year, Saint Guel ( @saintguel ) (Manila); among other up-and-coming producers to keep on your radar.

Factory Reset - Junoy Manalo | Twelve Points Records (12P006)

“Factory Reset” is Junoy Manalo’s latest body of work which presents four distinct tracks - all of which combine his already distinctive sound with brand new approaches to his production style.

With an opening track by the same title, “Factory Reset” is a combination of lush melodic textures and carefully layered drum sequences. There is a faint electric guitar being washed away in the background all throughout the track, while the foreground builds into an ambient symphony of pads and synths, with deep rhythmic grooves that are inspired by the likes of Ron Trent. 

“The Bottle” is the second track on the EP, and it features Manalo’s former bandmate and keyboardist, Errol Apacible. The track begins with a sample from legendary percussionist, Luisito Quintero. Eight bars in, Apacible lays down his unmistakable jazzy inflections that drive the narrative of the entire track. 

Taking influence from Larry Heard’s discography, the third track “Way Down” strikes a balance between raw and colorful. The synth melodies complement the track’s moody chord structure, while contrasting the 90’s style bassline that gives the track its bounce. 

Finally, the EP closes with “Total Listening” - a deep and driving jazz house tune that includes a percussive sample from legendary drummer Nate Smith, and a melodic saxophone line that gives the track its punchline. A vocal sample of Clark Terry is also used to tie the track together - a musical nod to Manalo’s frequent use of jazz education samples in his previous works.

A DJ-producer-multi-hyphenate on the rise, Meek quickly caught the attention of contemporaries around Asia with his debut track on the label, KTWN—a reimagination of Habigis’ Katawan that soon became a dance floor anthem.

With his EP Context!, Meek delivers a fresh voice and a sharp vision. His sound is a statement in motion, further defining his distinct style—one punctuated by eclectic percussion, energetic breakbeats, and an instinctive ear for disco.

While his debut was geared towards peak-time detonation, The Body Project casts a wider net designed for late-night dance floors and the afters, wherever they may be. Elements of dub, microhouse, psychedelia, and early 2000s trance drift in and out alongside Bins’ distinct love of soul showcasing his growing sensibilities as a producer and a reflection of the endless bag he reaches into on both sides of the booth.

Coming in hot is an extra special link up between three friends and pillars of Manila's scene who have contributed so much individually but now present as one.
