Chiptune, but relaxing as opposed to adrenalin-creating.

Resting Place

The first tune I started, finally got it in a half decent state.
The end isn't the real end, ideally all my stuff loops but this one sounded a bit odd if I just looped and faded, so I gave it some sort of whimsical almost-there ending. I like it.

Cranary

Still not too good at endings, this one's finish is just fabricated in Audacity because it's supposed to loop, and to my knowledge Soundcloud doesn't do looping. Instead, it loops from where it does and ends with an odd noise drum. Satisfactory, methinks.

After much delay, I've got another song for you. A little bit dance-music inspired, so I apologise for my overactive use of bass drum samples. I just got a tad excited. It's way too much fun.

In other news, I seem to have learned to end things in a non-looping manner. I view this as an important milestone. You will all receive cake for your participation.

Leadership

It's been a while, but I'm back in the music mood. I decided to warm up with some covers, so I present to you Idioteque, by Radiohead, off of the album Kid A. But 8-bit.

I've gone for a harsher, more driving feel with this piece, perhaps more in line with traditional NES music. A bit of melodic percussion sprinkled in. This is a mild deviation for me, so as usual, feedback is greatly appreciated, and if you like my work then feel free to show your friends. Downloads are enabled because this is a cover.
