Discoteca Italiana" is a contemporary interpretation of Italian club music from the past decades by Musumeci and 5 featuring artists.

The EP starts with "About Your Story" a joint opus with Andy Bros. A track with classic drum machines in a distinctive breakbeat pattern combined with orch hits, scratches performed by Italian Red Bull 3style champion Stonic and a voice that reminds us of the important things: "Passion, Soul, Glory".

The second track on the EP, "Bells of Freedom", a collaboration with Lehar, picks us up with driving arpeggios and a straight four by four beat.

Followed by "Go" a collaboration with Dodi Palese, a song inspired by a classic dance anthem. Rolling basslines, imposing tom fills and pads with a long release.

The fourth and last track is a symbiosis with Enzo Elia. Tension is created by intrinsically quiet sounds, which are presented to the listener at a habitual more aggressive texture, carried by a spherical chant by Stefano Proietti.

Steyoyoke is proud to announce yet another up and coming talent to the ethereal pinnacle. Germán Case’s pensive and mysterious 2- track EP “Moon River” includes a gritty and groovy remix by our very own label head, Soul Button. 

“Moon River” quickly sets the melancholic tone with its tense and pensive atmosphere gently painted atop a sustained bass and lovely kick and tom groove. The highlight of this emotive piece is its organic piano lead in the swirling ambiance filled tensionless breakdown which feels like walking on air. Rounding out the EP is Soul Button’s interpretation. Grounded in a drum first approach, this remix is rooted in the groove: a standout club ready emotional weapon. 

“Moon River” is another wonderful edition to the ethereal library. With its despondent yet inquisitive mood, it conveys an introspective moment which allows one to examine what it is they are truly searching for.

The artist is a mainstay of the All Day I Dream collective and a master of intricately woven electronic compositions, which also transfix the dancefloor. For his return contribution to Watergate Records he brings a string of cohorts in toe – Dulus, Polo & Molac from his excellent Shanti Records imprint, alongside ADID affiliate Roy Rosenfeld and Argentinean great Cattaeno.
 
The opener ‘Altitude’ is a dreamy bass-driven heater that unfolds beautifully over an eight-minute period and is highlighted by a key driven melody that’s both playful and emotive. ‘Astro World’ is an eclectic slice of organic house that captivates with a string-laden break before dropping down into a rhythmic second half. The EP’s title track is a silky sunset cut resplendent with twinkling pads that has enough groove to seduce a dusty dancefloor. ‘Vida’ begins life as a slinky percussive jam, before the dam breaks and a colourful river of melody drives the track home.
