Sydney based 5 piece, Twinkling Stars, began life late in 2018 as the creative vehicle of singer/songwriter, Jacob JB Serra, and has been performing regularly since that time.  Drawing primary influence from the Australian and NZ post-punk scene, the group’s sound also incorporates elements of alt-country, spoken word, free jazz and minimalist drone.  The band’s debut album, ‘Like a Candle Lit up Bright’ was released in 2023, which was followed by 2025’s self titled second album.
