"Waterfalls In Tanzania" is the 1st track from his upcoming EP - STARFISH releasing on April 15th, in collaboration with the talented Berlin based NZ producer/DJ Rodi Kirk. The sampled voices are the Children of the Tanzanian Wagogo Tribe recorded by Polo Vallejo who spent almost 20 years with the Wagogo people, transcribing, analysing & writing down their musical heritage in several works yet to be released.

" I kept this one a bit peppery, some forthcoming bits from Wu15 on Eglo, a Tenderlonious classic, the yoga master Twit One and of course some excerpts from Ross Kemp on gangs when he visited Peckham. I went for a bit of a vocal narrative so you'll hear little snippets of conversation pop in and out, there's some ancient Chinese musical reworks, Earl Jeffers and ended with some massive inspirations in Larry Heard and Kaidi Tatham. I also hear new stuff that I hadn’t noticed before when I listen to his music - the track with Jack Wilson that opens the mix up is so heavy and cosmic for its time, and I’d forgotten about the track with Wayne Henderson! There are so many great albums out there including the 2 Virgin Ubiquities BBE put out... We could devote a whole week of radio programmes to Roy, his archive is so large… 

He is the key to all things between jazz, soul, disco and hip hop…. Thank you roy for all the music...
