When making this remix, I wanted to take a more emotional approach to Louis The Child's beautifully done "Better Not". At first, the vocals seemed a little more cheery, especially with the original instrumental. But after laying down some chords that felt a little more dramatic, I immediately felt the emotional potential and wanted to make a whole different vibe with the vocals. I really wanted to capture the emotional side that the lyrics tell. Of course, nothing can beat the original, but this is my own interpretation of what the vocals told me.
