Roblox Fire

I've had this idea for a song for like ever, way before I even thought I would make music. You could probably guess, but I'm trying to capture the feeling of ***THE BREAKUP*** (obligatory 'lmao') idk why I'm so awkward about this, anyway... yeah basically. I had the idea for starting off nice but kinda off-putting, then eventually getting into a hard techno beat and kinda riding that for the rest of the song, and mayyyyyyyybe some vocals, which of course you can see I did put in. I'm not really sure what else to do, I feel like the whole beginning up until the vocals is kinda empty, but idk what to put there to fill the space. Waiting for input from Anton or Mitch I guess lol.

Killing Her (first version)

Back again with another phase of Killing Her development. I added some more instruments to the sections that felt lacking, and some other things to spice it up. I also made the cover art, I think it looks alright. I drew that on a real piece of paper first, with some color, then took a picture and took that into paint 3d, then re-colored everything basically, drew over everything. The eyes are kinda copied from a drawing she did at the place we both worked at, I thought it would be a nice nod, while also really adding to the art. In the middle is 'her' casket. Cuz I 'killed' her metaphorically, remember? That's kinda the double meaning I've decided this song has. 'Killing' her by breaking up, then 'killing' her again by putting to rest the idea of her with this song. I do love my double meanings. I will say, it was painful to look back through old pictures to find the reference for those eyes. I still feel like the lyrics sound corny asf, but I'm just gonna force it until someone tells me they suck I guess. I have maybe a few more ideas to finish this one off, but we'll see. I also don't feel like my vocals fit very well, but I can't quite put my finger on why... so it's gonna stay that way.

I had this idea a while ago, combining the main theme from Lethal Company with Wheatley Science from Portal 2. They're completely different BPMs, so really this shouldn't work and I don't know how I got it to work. The LC theme is 234 bpm, double that if you wanna count every beat of it. Wheatley Science is 141. So I slowed down the theme a little and I guess I got it perfectly somehow. Idk, it sounds interesting to me. Yes I'm uploading this at 4:22am.

Yo, this is the instrumental version of Killing Her, obviously, you can read titles. Idk, just thought I should put this out there, maybe I'll make an effort with all future works that include vocals to make an instrumental version too, as long as the vocals aren't needed for the song to 'work' I guess. Like in this, I kept in the gasp at the beginning and end because I feel it's necessary. Anyways, I don't really like this cover art, it's a pretty sloppy fill bucket with a more dead looking grass color, when this goes out everywhere else it's gonna look nicer. But it's nearly 5am so I don't give a shit. I just want to put this on here so I can listen to it with my earbuds and see how it sounds. Have a nice day.

Not quite the picture I wanted for the cover, but oh well, it's the same concept. I envisioned a device that would 'core' a planet, like an apple. Planet killing machines are always existentially dreadful. I tried to capture that in this song I guess.
