On the 25th of April 2015, a magnitude 7.8Mw earthquake struck in Lamjung, Nepal. The destruction it caused was staggering. More than 8,800 people lost their lives, and a further 23,000 were injured. On the 12th of May, an aftershock registering 7.3Mw struck, causing even more destruction. This aftershock claimed a further 117 lives, and injured another 2,500. Many people lost everything, homes, family, work, education - all taken away by the devastation. Many international aid operations are underway, but the task they face is enormous. 

With this in mind, we are putting this track up for download with a donation of your choice, with ALL proceeds going to aid charities involved in the aid operation. 100% of proceeds WILL go to aid  Nepal Red Cross

"Projections is an ongoing DJ mix series dedicated to showcasing Discovery Project alumni who continue to push boundaries with their music.

The members of Twofold may share the same first name, but the two Adams come from worlds apart. Hailing from the UK and California respectively, Adam Crewes-Meyer and Adam McKinney didn’t let distance or time differences become obstacles in their combined musical journey. After collaborating under various aliases, their shared appetite for producing different genres brought the pair together permanently as Twofold. They released their debut EP, The Prelude, on Datsik’s Firepower Records, taking the top spot on the Beatport Top 100 Dubstep chart. Up next for Twofold is their forthcoming single, “Taken Back” with Leah Culver, along with a string of shows this summer in San Francisco and Colorado.

Being part of Insomniac’s Discovery Project has been a huge inspiration and driving force for us. The concept behind the project is fantastic, as it provides a platform and incentive for emerging artists. It’s a credit to Insomniac and the Discovery Project team, and we feel very fortunate to be a part of it. We’ve always been huge fans of multiple sides of the dance music spectrum, and we feel this mix really highlights that. We’ve always been open to every subgenre and hope to continue experimenting in the future."

So today we upload what we are fairly certain is the final Twofold release. We are releasing a little Farewell EP for free that is a little collection of some songs we liked that never got to see the light of day for one reason or another.

We have met some amazing people through this project and learned a huge amount. It has been a fascinating journey and we thank every single one of you that has supported us over the years.
