Propaganda

Dedicated to all video game-loving women and uterus-having AFAB folk who are forced to struggle with sad old men trying to take away their control over their own bodies. This song was assembled from an abandoned 2011 side project, then sat in the cooker for over a year again as I struggled with my own personal demons. Sadly, the old lyrics didn't need many changes to adapt to the current reality. Final version is largely inspired by the 2020-2021 women's strike protests in Poland against the expansion of anti-abortion laws.

My entry for the Homestuck music contest. A song written for one of the comic's characters, Equius Zahhak.

I won't lie, this one is so heavily inspired by Nine Inch Nails it could pretty much be a NIN B-side. Then again, it only helps to fit the character this much more.

Also, I myself am a Sagittarius. So yeah.

Mixed by Luigi Elettrico. We did what we could with the tools, time and communication we had, I believe.

Worth noting for any Homestuck fan is the fact that this song has a 13/4 time signature. Also, a lot of inspiration here came from the soundtrack to Earthbound, a game which as far as I know was one of the inpirations for the comic itself.
