This year marks 15 years since I started my service in the online underground. Time flies when you are having fun right?! I remember when I (as non dj) heard something on the radio back then, that was just it. Nobody put that on soundcloud or youtube for you to listen to again. I was telling myself there must be more people that want to listen to some tracks over and over again. That's how it all started. Ripping tracks from radio shows, uploading some cool tracks that were hot in that time period (remember post-dubstep & future garage?),there were even a few people sending me their music to upload! The moment I started doing the video edits was life changing. Not only for me but for all the people we (music youtubers) made hot in the era of lo-fi house. Happy to see some of them rockin big stages today!

Since then, this has been my everyday, 24/7/365! Paid my dues & made the sacrifices. Was it worth it? Damn right! Though I have to admit that I never intended to start djing myself. I was forced to by the community! I am happy I sold my bike so I can buy speakers and started.

Music took me around the world. With music I met a bunch of amazing people who did not hesitate to spend their money and time just to meet the guy they know from youtube. For this I will forever be grateful!

Like 5 years ago, also this time I have a mix for you! I just wanted to put together a mix full of my all time favorite jams. The result is an almost six hour journey through different genres & styles. I also wanted to include music made by people I have some history with. Baltra, Bambounou, Fjaak, Route 8 or Kettama, to name a few (and a whole lotta more!). Expect a lot of hits! Slow jams, House, Techno, UK sound and more.

Be With Records is a London-based vinyl-only reissue label run by Rob Butler. With a broad, inclusive music policy and an emphasis on top notch sound quality, Rob has quickly established it as one of the most exciting reissue labels around.

In the short space of time since May 2014 he's given a new lease of life to overlooked classics from the likes of Ned Doheny, Letta Mbulu and Nohelani Cypriano, as well as more well-known records by The Streets, Cassie and even Kylie Minogue that either never came out on vinyl or were going for silly money on Discogs.

Ahead of next week's incoming Label Love feature, Rob's done an excellent label showcase mix for us. One take, all-vinyl, and a track from every Be With release - an impressive feat given the diversity of the catalogue!
