OSSX is the pairing of New Jersey-based producers Lektor Scopes & EQUISS. Already known for a slew of self-released edits, the duo take things to head-clearing heights with their debut EP of original tracks. Experience de- and re-constructing tracks for dance floor efficiency is on display across these ecstatic, bottom-heavy cuts. Essential gear from two club-wise voices.

"Fuego" is a melody that transports me to some kind of Mayan or Aztec ritual. I imagine it as being high up in a pyramid in the middle of the jungle, listening to that guitar melody while the percussion builds until it breaks into the chorus, which would mark the beginning of some kind of ritual, giving thanks for life.
