Canadian Paolo Rocco kickstarts the New Year with his ​Judgement EP on Hot Creations. The first release of 2017 is an international affair, with Manchester born Trevino and one of the most spoken
names of last year, Greece native Detlef on remix duties.

Initially making a name for himself through his DJing skills back home in Montreal, Paolo's productions entered the market in 2012 with instant international support. His releases on Real Tone, One Records, Saved and others were all met with high acclaims as were the compilations he mixed for Defected and Get Physical. The creation of, ‘Judgement’ and ‘That’s It’ prove Paolo truly understands what works on the dance floor.

2016 saw Detlef reach new heights whilst also debuting on Hot Creations with his ‘Kinky Tail’ EP. He returns to
the label with a devastating edit of ‘Judgement’ and his rolling signature sound.

Trevino aka Marcus Intalex ramps up the EP with his remix, centred around shimmering high hats and a freaky groove. A champion of how a DJ can achieve success in two different genres, Trevino has released on several of the most praised drum & bass and techno labels for a number of years.

'Fer BR is a Spanish artist who has been prevalent releasing on labels such as Richie Hawtin’s Minus, Adam Beyer’s Truesoul and Claude VonStroke's DIRTYBIRD, but he has released much of his output via Paco Osuna’s label Mindshake.

Not only has Fer BR released many solo tracks and remixes on Mindshake, he has also collaborated with Paco Osuna under their shared alias of Project00.

Building a close relationship with Mindshake it seems fitting that the label has been chosen for the release of Fer BR’s second album.

In his own words, Fer BR is someone who plays multiple styles “being able to adapt to each situation while maintaining my essence”.

In a crowded space where every DJ and producer is trying to hunt out their own niche it’s sometimes criticized when eclectic artists have a style that doesn’t neatly fit into a sub-genre, but Fer BR is an example of someone who celebrates this diverse approach, using his own music to lead by example.

Taking influence from minimal sounds to Techno with hints of tech house along the way, this 10 track album is a celebration of eclectic artists who dare to be different, and focus on making good music without worrying if it’s on trend with a hype genre.

Anyone who has heard a Fer BR DJ set knows that even though he effortlessly skips through genres, he never lets the flow of energy drop and when played in full, this album is expertly programmed to play like one of his tantalising club performances.'

With releases on Heavy House Society, Low:Res and TBX Records, as well as gaining support from all corners of the house music scene, the TwoSlice duo have been taking things to the next level in 2020... with or without the clubs open. 

Having made themselves a regular feature in the Beatport top 10, with no less than six releases spanning the year, TwoSlice have well and truly rocketed onto the scene. Armed with their very own infectious ‘Twoslicey’ sound, they are quickly making their mark and finding their unique space in the underground. This is testament to their track’s such as ‘Masterplan’, which was championed far and wide by DJs, and has swiftly made the duo a staple choice in the crates of some of the world’s biggest tastemakers at the turn of this year. 

The TwoSlice journey started as local childhood friends when Jamie and Charlie would regularly spend days together listening and playing music, perfecting their sound and skills on guitar, bass and drums. Both had a diverse interest in music while growing up from disco, hip-hop and funk which features heavily in their deep grooving house sounds. Partnership is the driving factor in their production and in their role as A&R for the label Swerve Digital, ensuring these influences combined with the classic four to the floor club sound shine through. 

This all comes together when they step-up to the booth, the duo strive for moody electric energy when they get behind the decks, and with a catalogue of new material to unleash and a whole lot of pent up energy, TwoSlice are ready to capture the hearts and souls of dance floors across the globe.
