Coming from Oslo, Norway, musical expression has been a journey of development for Takt. From groovy and playful to up-tempo with tribal influences, high quality productions have always been her main focus. Her passion for techno has made her an appreciated DJ. With performances at Melkweg in Amsterdam and Villa in her home town, she has been a central figure in the scene, being part of numerous electronic music concepts and collectives. 

On her side, ANNĒ delivers a mesmerizing remix closing this EP in the perfect way.

Raho delivers a powerful collection of tracks, and a wild ride through dark, pulsating rhythms and raw energy. Arkham Audio is thrilled to announce the release of Raho‘s new EP, „Strange People In The Jungle.“

The EP opens with the title track, featuring bell-like percussion and intense, distorted vocals over a pounding beat. 
MarAxe’s remix intensifies the track with heavier, grittier elements perfect for late-night sets. „Persistence“ captivates with a mantra-like groo- ve, underpinned by a driving acid bassline. Uncertain’s remix injects high energy and expertly chopped samples. 
„I Have A Dream“ blends modular synth sequences with re- lentless kick drums, while TWR72’s remix shifts the track into a more introspective, at- mospheric space. „Don’t Touch Me“ is a cinematic, aggressive piece, with Yoikol’s remix adding dystopian pads to heighten the tension.

New signing Fisssh from Amsterdam makes his worldwide debut with two sophisticated tracks called 'Zebra Pleco' and 'Red Discus'. 

Little details within the structure are a keen element in both productions. With blending rhythms, intense details and woven structures this won't be the last you'll hear from Fisssh. 

Second artists on this EP is Kuf from Eskilstuna (and no, this has nothing to do with Fisssh), Sweden. His experimental and analog approach with a raw, and at times, minimal twist is utterly refreshing. And that's what you can hear in the tracks 'Kaos' and 'Ahmet'. Two brilliant and unusual pieces which will grow on you with every play.

It's from Float Records' latest signing Altinbas and the track is called Imminent Probe. Sometimes you need something that is simple and effective yet attractive. And we can tell you, Imminent Probe does the job. No club is safe if you decide to play this.

With Authentic Memory, the 2nd track of the EP, Altinbas shows his capability to create more depth and subtle variations. The track keeps building while small details come and go. Altinbas closes the EP with Cyclic Frames; A never ending fast forward rhythm blended with intelligent highhats. Let this Brussel-based producer surprise you.

Only if you lived under a rock the last year it’s possible that you have no clue who Tensal is. But if you didn’t live under a rock you’re probably as happy as we are that Tensal is doing a full EP on Float Records. 

Achievement 1 is the perfect example of how subtle elements can create the story of a track. The sound similar to a waterdrop stays untainted while the sublime hat parts keep on floating around. Achievement 2 has that particular groove that will captivate and hypnotize your brains. Once again that groove is supported by flawelessly ongoing hats.

Achievement 3 is all about the eccentric bassline which is driving continuously making you deform into a different mindset. Achievement 4 unlocks a fierce tension; you shouldn’t feel save when hearing this one. Four grooving techno tracks, just like you are used from both Tensal and Float Records.

The original Tumult starts modest, but builds up to an intense moment of full force, which is supported by minimal yet heavy drums. Fisssh uses his intelligent percussion game to give the original a different direction. With intense filtering and layering he succeeds to flip the originals sequence into a new one. Sågtand almost overrules itself with its sequenced penetrating saw, distorted minimal kicks and clever positioned high hats. This haunting tool let’s no place untainted. Sfär closes the EP in style with a rolling sequence combined with an ongoing soundscape in the background.

X1 has a remarkable and outspoken bassline with a slighty ‘back in the days’-feel created by the drums. Slowly the organ theme grows and grows until you get used to it. Heavy hitting claps make sure to keep your attention towards the break. And then… X2 has a driving groove as the main subject. Steered by an almost annoying high pitched pad and later some haunting strings. The real science starts when Endlec works his magic. His unique drum programming and distorted yet sophisticated approach of the elements creates the best remix. X3, the fast groover with a slick bassline, a cheeky synth and jacking drums is perhaps a safe approach. But we guarantee this will work on every dancefloor. It all started with a demo in our mailbox of a 18 minutes long track without a beat. Deauwd was the one who had the balls and confidence to send it. There was no doubt this guy was talented and here we are presenting his debut EP on Float Records: Adept. 

Deauwd his love for techno has translated into a real varied EP. With the 1st track Adept he goes full force with a thump mix of oldskool and minimal elements. No doubt the sequence gets stuck in your head for a long time. 120 is the 2nd track on the EP. This 18 minutes long masterpiece takes you on an atmospheric journey which builds up really slow and subtle. Just in time you can hear the first tones leading to the transformation of the sequence. Then it opens up like a beautiful flower in outer space. Duality on the flip side is the little kooky brother of Adept. Once again a thump mix of oldskool and minimal elements, but this time with a startling arrangement. You never know what to expect next. Last of the bunch is Litter. High BPM, killer bassline, snappy beats and a fantastic sequence. Once again a talented new producer on Float Records! We hope you like it as much as we do.
