I heard the main melody in my mind and sat down to play it on the guitar, I knew it was for an Icaro but I didn't know which until I heard Don Evangelino Muraray singing it, I think originally it's Don Jose Campos who received it).

The Mamankunas are the spirits of the plants and this song is an invocation to various of them, the original Icaro sings to many more of them but I focused on 4 for this rendition.

We recorded it during a meditation and sound healing retreat at Black Jack's Mill 9th October 2015
