It's been about 2 and a half years since Schy passed away. Of course, the Hollow Knight community is moving towards a demographic where less and less of us knew them, and I've had a hard time dealing with the grief as this has been my first time grieving someone close. I spent a long time not being able to cry about it after the first 1-1.5 years. I had my feelings about it compartmentalized and locked away so that I could function normally, but recently I met Marcy in person and had a chance to cry with her and bond over how we miss Schy. Since then, I've had a bit of an easier time putting into words how I feel about this, and in the past ~4 months I've been able to finally record my thoughts, even if I was kinda sobbing the whole time. This is just my form of expressing my grief and getting it out, but maybe it'll connect with someone else.
