A sonic alchemist, Murge weaves the eclectic and the electric to create dancefloor-centric beats that fill the space and lift the crowd. Unorthodox sounds intertwine to create an expansive aural journey; one of connection and elevation.

Pulling from across a variety of genres, Murge's influences are wide ranging and free flowing; from the Cosmic era of disco to psychedelic jazz, from Latin rhythms fused with the elasticity and inclusiveness of world-inspired music to field recordings of ambient samples, captured during his own global travels.

A longtime captain of the dance floor, Murge presents "Murge's Magic Hour" as a fresh offering of inspired global consciousness and transformative connectivity.

Very excited to have a special guest joining me this time around, well known DJ/producer Tor. This mix features a strong selection of many of the tracks from his recent album 'Oasis Sky' which released on April 30th.

Tycho @ KISS | Burning Man 2023 | Into the Wild

Known only by his moniker, 23-year-old Londoner @CatchingFliesMusic caught our attention over a year ago with The Long Journey Home EP. The illusive DJ and producer makes cinematic dreamscapes that sit quite nicely alongside those of 2014 tour buddy Bonobo, and, with a debut album in the works and a third EP about to surface, our appetites have been whet by the sweet nostalgia of Quiet Night. A fan of i-D’s Slumber Session series, Catching Flies has put together one of his own and it’s one of our all-time favourites. “I’ve always been inspired by soundtracks and interested in the impact music has on picture and vice versa, so the idea was to create a soundtrack to the story of someone’s life.” CF explains. “It was nice to completely disregard the dancefloor and make something purely for home listening. The tunes are a mix of new and old and the idea is that you’re taken on a journey.” This slumber session is a soundtrack to the film of your imaginary life. Drift away and live vicariously.

Label manager, il vient de lancer son label Moonrise Hill Material, producteur aux aliases divers et DJ ayant déjà joué sur certaines des plus belles scènes de l'hexagone, il annonce une année chargée en sorties pour 2015 avec une présence sur les labels de qualité Luv Dancin, D.Ko Records et Moonrise Hill Material. Il est certain qu'il faudra le suivre de près.
