Dogstarr – Dance Mrwebi Dance EP (TOYTOY Music)
The debut release on TOYTOY’s label comes from resident Dogstarr, who channels the spirit of
Johannesburg’s underground into a five-track EP, plus a hypnotic remix from CraigPlacid. Dance
Mrwebi Dance moves through deep, driving, and euphoric spaces — a record that mirrors the diverse
energy of TOYTOY’s dance floor.

1 ) Dance Mrwebi Dance
The title track locks into a pulse, its hypnotic percussion and rolling low-end creating a meditative
groove that feels equal parts ritual and release.

2) Moonlight
Sharp, urgent, and atmospheric, Moonlight moves with a restless drive. Metallic textures and layered
rhythms give it a shadowy tension that pulls dancers deeper into the floor.

3) Left the Building (Apartment Version)
This cut slows things down and stretches out the space. With its stripped, dub-infused feel, it’s a heady,
introspective moment on the EP, perfect for deeper hours.

4) Get Off Your Block( Extended Version)
The updated version of this track is faster, darker, and more intense — a peak-time weapon built for
strobe-lit rooms. Its relentless percussion and raw energy capture Dogstarr’s harder edge.

5) Sunrise Over Gwi Gwi (CraigPlacid Remix)
CraigPlacid closes the EP with a widescreen rework, morphing the original into a hypnotic sunrise
anthem. Expansive and deep, it feels like the perfect come-up after the storm.
