This track exhibits the tension between the interaction of the Black Male and the Authority Abusing Cop.

Humility Before Mercy 62416

I was asked to do a piece on police brutality a few months ago. When I started we were talking about Amaud. Now the new name is Jacob Blake. And there have been so many from when I started to when I finally finished that I have lost count.
Writing this was a struggle but it has also helped me to deal with what I'm seeing and the mental trauma that comes with it. I encourage anyone finding it hard to function or to deal emotions arising from the constant exposure to police brutality and the lack of justice that follows to please seek help. 
This is not normal
