Ty Bates is rapidly becoming country music's most sought out up and coming artist. After winning
“Georgia Country Artist of the Year”, Ty's career has gone into overdrive. The hard working Bates has
firmly put his boots down in the fast paced, ever changing world of Country Music. After releasing his
debut album in 2010, Ty has been touring all over the country entertaining thousands. Although Bates
had headlined hundreds of his own shows, he really began seeing his efforts pay off when he was
selected to share the stage with the country star, Jake Owen. After being featured in “Country Weekly
magazine” Ty's career hit another level.
Ty quickly took advantage moving to the home of country music Nashville, Tennessee. With a steady
dose of writing and singing it didn't take long for Ty's music industry peers to take notice. Bates has
been featured at the world renowned “Bluebird Cafe Sunday Spotlight” and has graced the stage many
more times since. Ty's uncanny way of telling a story through a song was quickly noticed by a new
innovative company called TweelX Publishing. Ty has since published many songs with this
groundbreaking new company.
After months of planning,creating and diligence, Ty hit the road on “The Honky Tonkin' University
Tour” in January of 2013 playing every college town, honky tonk, festival, event and venue on the
map. His shows gained him thousands more fans warranted by his passionate stage presence and
powerful vocals mixed with the contagious need to have a good time. He has been the feature of many
television shows, radio programs and news stories in his short time in the spotlight, as everyone wants
to be a part of this up and comer's rise to the top.
Ty has begun writing and recording his new album which will be released in early 2014 and is greatly
anticipated by his industry peers and impatiently by his fans!
Ty's humble beginnings at flea market, church and beauty pageant stages, to now entertaining
thousands of screaming fans have shaped the artist and very appreciative man he has become today. He
is excited and grateful to be counted as a new member of the Red Light family.
