I worked on doing a remix for "Reimagined" a couple of months back but never got time to finish it due to moving house/life. Thought i'd share it anyway since they've announced the remix competition.
I didn't finish the middle section so that bit sounds beige. It was also more of a mix practice opportunity for me and didn't change things much except for the guitars/verses/drum sounds.

Contortionist - Reimagined Remix (Not Fin)

Nobody needed to hear an anime opening style remix of 'Reimagined' by The Contortionist, but I did it anyway.

This will be my 'entry' for the remix competition. And in anime fashion, it's called Re:Imagined, with the random colon for good effect.

Just a first try at even mixing something like this, or anything really. Lot's of loose wobbly frequencies floating around, I think I progressively lost the plot as I tried different versions of this mix. Anyway, like peeling a band aid off; posting your first go at something new is painful at first but immediately soothing afterwards. Have at her!
