Today marks my first release as Puppet on Monstercat!

Scribble was the first song I ever wrote under this alias and also the most emotional one. Scribble is the product of a year of hard work and attention to detail while I was working diligently to find my sound. Still, every time I listen a certain emotion is evoked in me. This was my first attempt at expressing myself musically and I couldn't be more happy with it. I am extremely fortunate to have been able to work with one of my great friends The Eden Project on this track. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed the journey to this moment!!

My debut Soft Spoken EP is out now!

Where do you go when no where feels like home?

I've been wanting to write a song like this for a long time. Even though you could call my music "Dance" music, my true passion when it comes to music is creating atmosphere. Worlds and sounds that just take you in. Its not the "dance floor bangers" or the huge anthems that inspire me, its the soundscapes and stories that people can tell with only a few notes. That let you close your eyes and be transported to somewhere new.
I've been scared to release a song like this to be honest. I have probably written 10 or 20 of them in the past few years, but I was afraid that none of them had a strong enough message. With this EP though, I am not trying to hide who I am and what I love. I hope that you all can find meaning in the music that floats around in my head.
This is Vagrant. My little home away from home. It is technically a prologue to the last track on the EP, Vagabond, but I think it is strong enough to stand on its own.

The Veldt by deadmau5 was one of the songs that originally inspired me to make music as a teenager. I used to watch the video of Joel discovering Chris James on loop. It gave me goose bumps.
