Wrote this song from the perspective of a kid that always wanted to skip town. I did, but it was only years after I left for the first time that I realized how much I love my home State of Ohio. The entire Dayton area but specifically a tiny town called Germantown. I never expected this to be a hit, but it's personal and I know you can feel it.
