This is an instrumental project that I recorded entirely with a Yamaha FG850. Kind of ended up being an exercise in seeing what sorts of sonic landscapes I could fill out with a single acoustic guitar and a little post production.

L'amour est bleu (Love Is Blue) composed by André Popp in 1967, sung by Vicky Leandros at the Eurovision contest. Paul Mauriat did an instrumental version in 1968 that became a hit.

The instrument is a Kawai VPC1 controlling a Nord Stage 2, using a sampled harpsichord, a simulated Hammond B3 organ, a sampled Mellotron flute, and sampled Yamaha CS-80 synth pads.
