Gordon The Big Engine

Hurry Hurry Hurry! Another revisit to Gordon's classic theme. 

Gordon's original theme really captures the personality and speed of an express engine, the triumphant trumpet like lead accompanied by these intense rapid 'chuffs' that are provided by the LM-1. Mike and Junior really knew what they what to do with this one, it's like they provided a grand synth orchestra!

So last week, I commissioned this theme to Isaiah aka One Tram Band as I'm starting to become a S4 fan and wanted to hear what some S3 themes would sound like in S4. I also commissioned a S4 varient of Duck's theme previously.

Gordon the Big Engine's Theme - Series 4 Remix (One Tram Band)

The mix of Gordon's Theme as heard in the Series 3 episode 'Time for Trouble'. However, the official one was only the second half of this theme so I decided to extend it to the length of the original Series 1 version.

Gordon The Big Engine | Freelance Season 3

Ahh, it's about time I got round to this one. I never really use to care for this one too much until I got down to doing it myself. I'm now finding it hard to pick which one I prefer because the OG  '84 mix is unbeatable but this is also a step up harmonically and a wider range of instrumentation. 
I thought I'd mix in the version from 'The Trouble With Mud' as it closes to the end, replacing the trumpet with a flute/oboe combo. Thought it'd be good to get the best of both worlds.

Here's a theme that I've been inspired to make ever since initially hearing it in Jessie Ortiz's video; "The Grand Trick". Gordon and James' themes go surprisingly well hand-in-hand, and I wanted to do my own take on this sort of thing. I hope you all enjoy this cover!

Here is the a new freelance that i cooked up pretty fast. It was really fun to make because the proteus and the Jupiter sound so good together! Its partially inspired by Carsons Real work, as it uses some of the elements from it. I hope you enjoy!

Here's something I've been making for fun over the week. I had this idea while I was drawing Gordon in class one day. I wanted to make something that would both suit "Paint Pots and Queens", with a little hint of Donald and Douglas' theme. Enjoy!

I've recently become attached to Gordon's theme, it's now become one of my all time favourite character themes in Thomas along with Edward, Donald and Douglas and Diesel.

Hello everyone, and here's another music track from me! This one is called "Gordon's Triumph", and I made it as a sort of "what if" kind of thing if Mike and Junior did the music for the episode "Squeak, Rattle, and Roll" instead of Robert Hartshorne. This was originally created on February 26th, 2022. I hope you enjoy it!
