Tyler Belluz is a graduate of the Indiana University Jacobs School of music. Upon graduation he proceeded to play regularly with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra for a few seasons. Since then, Tyler has played on the finest stages across the World, collaborating with dozens and dozens of Grammy, Juno, Academy and Emmy award winning artists. As a recording artist, Tyler has played on a plethora of albums, including 2 recent Polaris Prize nominated albums. Tyler can be heard on CBC radio 1, 2, 3, as well as a few documentaries on BRAVO television.

Tyler currently resides in Toronto, Canada, performing with many of the leading orchestra’s within Canada, as well as a handful of critically acclaimed groups. As of late, he has been able to bridge the gap between his own solo projects/ bands, within the film industry, and has begun a career within film composing. Two films have been premiered at film festivals across the USA as well recording the double bass on a documentary that was recently screened at the Toronto International Film Festival.
