After previewing the track recently on Snapchat, fans of grime vet Shystie have themselves to thank for her taking the hint and finally freeing this freestyle over a Zeph Ellis production. The instrumental used here on "Dem Way Deh" is an offshoot of the "XCXD BXMB" beat popularised by AJ Tracey on "Naila" and Kano on "Garage Skank". Riding the riddim full of blaring horns and scattered kicks, Shystie lists her credentials and stripes on the mic, sounding as energised and refreshed as ever.
