First things first, rest in peace George Floyd and every other victim of police brutality. 

I wanted to express how I feel and the only way I know how is through music, so I wrote a song. It describes the point of view of your typical racist police officer and how they see people that look like me. A few days ago I was proud of an achievement; now it's been reiterated that no matter what we achieve, do or say - in the eyes of the corrupt police my people and I will be seen as hood niggas doing nigga things. And that sucks. Every black person's life has immeasurable value. It's also reminded me of the casual racism black people face day-by-day that have become normalized in society. 

But at least the problem is being vocalised. Thank you to everyone speaking out about the issue and trying to help, whether you're a POC, white or even blue. This society needs to do better.
