I’m in a drop top Mercedes C Cabriolet and this laid back song by TYLERRIDDIM comes up and it features the soulful essence of 3rty’s vocals on a nasty Dj Xtreme trap beat and suddenly everything begins to happen in slow motion and I check the dashboard’s entertainment screen to see the title of this surreal sound is “CELEBRATE” and the genre reads “OPEN MUSIC”, a fresh hybrid sound emanating from Mokanla 11 a budding lifestyle and creative company based out of a suburb in Lagos, Nigeria called “ISOLO”.
Just when I get really comfortable in the driver seat… someone’s screaming my name so I’m jolted back to reality as I unplug to answer my mum who’s trying to know what song I’m listening to cos apparently I had been singing the hook out loud. “Ta lo korin ti on ko yen?” I let her know it’s her son’s new single to celebrate my Father’s birthday and that links and details of the song can be found on Tylerriddim’s social media pages. 
As I start to plug back to my lucid state, I remember that “CELEBRATE” is Tylerriddim’s first single of 2018 and its set the standard of great materials from features and singles alike to be expected from his camp.
CELEBRATE was first recorded sometime in 2016 at Dream Audio Works studio and later re-recorded at Studio 56 studio in 2017. Both studios operate out of the Isolo area. Celebrate is a warning shot to “party poopers” and those people that bring negative vibes. He says “Emi O bawon wa aye…” which loosely translates to “I didn’t came to this world with them” and that He feels like Kanye (The Old Kanye) so these downers should give him space.
Celebrate was released under the Mokanla 11 imprint on the 18th of May, 2018.

Tylerriddim is a smooth African Wonder also dubbed 'the melanin Dream'
He is a Nigerian born World Musician, Songwriter & Co-founder of Indie Recording Label Mokanla 11. Hailing from Ekiti state, Tylerriddim has built his indigenous sound around African rooted elements with influences from Legends such as Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, Bob Marley, Shabba ranks, Nat King Cole, Vybz Kartel and Burna boy
He combines Afro sounds with Pop, grime, highlife, reggae and ska thus showing how versatile he is
He has worked with numerous producers like T-wizzy, Shabba, Dj Xtreme, Izzy blaq, Cross and many more. 
In 2015, He first appeared on a joint mixtape dubbed 'Music Fridays' with the likes of Kenny blaq, Fly Luchi, Jharmin, 3rty, mackdams and Austin. The project was a compilation of 11 songs which were released every friday and ran for 11 weeks
He has been working with Top notch Producer Dj Xtreme since 2016 and has since then released his debut album 'Summer Riddim' in 2018 followed by 'The Back Benchers' a joint extended playlist with D-truce his childhood friend in the same year and an archive of refreshing singles to give life to his unique catalogue. Currently based in Nigeria, he has infused his vibely yoruba ethnic roots into his songs
He has carved a niche for himself as an artiste
