Totally forgot I finished this track blaspheming Bach's work last July. :D
I like it a lot more now than I did when I laid it to rest.

I can't find my project file but I think this was for 4 pianos. Arpeggiators galore. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

(Flourish) The Goldberg Variations - BWV 988 - Aria [Bastardized]

Lots of warts and gaps here still. The structure of this makes me want to split it up into smaller tracks and flesh those out. Currently it's like a strangely-paced medley of other songs that don't exist.

Messy but fun track I started to put together. Really meaning to binge through some Ableton tutorials and work on my songwriting soon. There's a lot of basic stuff I never figured out properly. lol

Some quick fun with arpeggiators. Worked it out with pianos at first but it was really dull.

A melancholy song, but I had fun making it.

Untitled 5-25-19 [Pianos and Timpani]

Simplistic little riff on Ennio Morricone's The Ecstasy of Gold focusing more on texture and rhythm. I just used a few different virtual Rhodes pianos together with drum samples.  The pianos are amped up and distorted to give some fun electric guitar-like sound wrangling, with some arpeggiation layered in to boot.

Life is Beautiful (Whistle Theme from Deadly Premonition) [Piano Cover]

A digital riff off of "Oriental" from 12 Danzas españolas by the great composer Enrique Granados, originally written in 1890. All made in Ableton Live with tweaked synths and virtual plucked string instruments.

Started making this as filler background music for a little minimalistic platformer game I've been working on this month. Really like what it turned into! Though it's much more subdued and ambient compared to the original performed on piano or guitar. (Definitely check those out if you haven't heard them - so beautifully romantic.)

Danza No. 2 Redux (1-31-20)

This is a gradually escalating riff off of the main theme of Glassworks by Philip Glass. Think I like how it turned out but it's always hard to know for sure after I've completely exhausted my ears on something.

I made it for a little free platformer game I'm almost done with that involves moving a ball along blocks, hence the name. Ballworks just doesn't have the same ring to it. 😅
