Tyneside Sounds Society Remake & Remixes 1967

In celebration of the ancient Roman god Terminus, god of boundaries, whose festival is 23rd February ... I walked the shoreline of my imaginary lockdown island - Contención Island (https://martinpeccles.com/other-sound-works/contencion-island/). Although I've waked this in sections before, I have never previously walked it in one go.
So, starting at about 05:50 I walked through the dawn and ended at 10:00 - four hours - the length of the shoreline was about 11 miles and the walk total was about 12 once I add in the distance from my house to the shore. Unsurprisingly, there wasn't much of a dawn chorus along the shoreline in February ... and it was quite windy ... force 4 to 5 gusting 6 to 7.

Terminalia: around Contención Island

The whole recording from myself and Mike's Easter Sunday throw down in Newcastle's premier Rave Boozer. Ambient through to some classic Detroit Techno. All vinyl, from myself and with a few bits I've never played before.

Thanks to Mike, for digging some fine music out and joining me. Always an education and thanks to Team Tanners, for allowing us to play what we do and for the fine hospitality

'hey! i used this using my new teenage engineering pocket operator sampler; the PO-33. it's the first thing i've made on it, so literally this challenge was me learning the sampler. 

the only sample that's not the bells is my voice sampled into it saying "alreet", then i trimmed a part of that sample down in the po-33 so the "t" sounded like a snare. the rest are samples of the bells from the media file direct into the po-33. 

i then recorded me messing around with the 16 patterns into ableton and the only thing i added to it before exporting it to mp3, was adding some different ableton delay fx from approx 1min - 1:45min in cos it started sounded a bit... repetitive and flat? there's also a tiny bit of reverb on it, too.
