The signal had flickered into existence without warning, a sudden complex sequence that almost filled the awaiting databanks within moments and laid out an array of schematics beyond comprehension. For years they labored, first to understand and then to build the machine it described, a craft that could finally escape the outermost reaches of the solar system and carry a single human beyond the limits of their star, to the point of the signal’s source. They picked the passenger with care - their most capable pilot, linguist and scientist, ascribed beyond the limits of fear through overwhelming curiosity… The journey was swift, covering that most immeasurable of distances in human terms within days. As he drew close to the origin, far from the sun and beyond the influence of the system, it appeared as a speck in the distance but quickly grew into a sight of overwhelming complexity, a vast silent ship, and static in the darkness, blotting out the light of distant stars. As the shuttle drew close, it shuddered into life, internal lights hesitating before firmly illuminating and colossal vents purged gases into the yawning nothingness of space. The vessels nestled together, extending appendages and exchanging code. With a sigh the airlock opened and sequential lighting ushered him within the vacant hulk, a faint trembling of power running through the hull and beneath his feet. He entered the endless chamber with wide pupils, so big that it receded into blackness, the overwhelming mechanism before him filling his vision – a vast sphere engineered to an impossible configuration… a pathway to the stars… the WARP DRIVE.

MALUX is an artist who surged into the drum & bass sphere suddenly in 2016, delivering a tight selection of releases on some of the leading labels in the genre and making his mark on the European live scene with rapid success. Opening with staggered, rapid-fire basslines and sparkling synth arpeggios, the uncompromising “Outlander” soon hurtles toward a frenzied drop. Dominated by gnarled, saturated basslines which warp at a breakneck pace, the song is garnished with syncopated kicks, bursting snares and pitched percussion. Making deft use of dynamic range, it lulls into a tense, ambient breakdown before striking again with the same gravity and with a number of new twists and turns to boot, making for an intense number in a similar vein to last year’s popular Clamps collaboration “Discrise”.

My name's Ryan Allen, 21, and I'm here to upload all the best of my lovely works of shit.  I've been creating electronic music since I started working on my first upload on here, my Get Sexy remix.  I'm very much against the use of loops and samples that others have created and simply jamming them together and calling it an original piece.  I didn't want to learn that way and I made sure I didn't.  To me, it's a huge joke and the song ends up sounding all wrong.  I make all my sounds myself, usually using something like Operator in Ableton or sometimes just messing with parameters in Massive -though I can't truly call that my own sound, exactly, and I usually like using Operator as I can have full control over the sound I get.  Usually, the only sounds you will hear from me that I did not create may be something like a couple kicks or claps as I'm not always able to make something that sounds good and can't seam to find anything to help me that doesn't include layering samples (if you do know of such a tutorial or whatever, please feel free to share with me and I will love you forever, like you have no idea).  I also write all that you hear from me, as well (unless otherwise stated; such as the vocals in my Get Sexy remix and in I Don't Give A Fuck, those I had no part in creating).  I have taken two courses in highschool on electronic music composition and, sadly, that is near all I have to back myself up with.  I do know how to create simple chords and although I don't fully remember chord progression, I do have an the idea in my head as I write my pieces.  Out of key notes and bad chords irk me terribly and I can pick them up instantly, usually (not saying that I catch them 100% of the time).  You'll find me uploading songs of many different genres.  I'm far from bias against or for any genre.  I can enjoy anything, so long as it was well produced and isn't full of wrong notes and such.  However, I can usually be found listening to electro, house, or dubstep most of the time.

Apart from music, I also love to do 3D Modeling, skateboarding (and longboarding), wakeboarding, scuba diving, fishing, and plenty of other random things here and there and also hoping to get into some other stuff like snowboarding, surfing, and freeride mountain biking in the near future.

Also, just for the record, I'm a MtF (male to female) transsexual, pre-opp.  That shouldn't be a problem, though.
