Subplate Recordings proudly presents the Debut EP from German based "Parasite" on SUBPLATE-032. We're happy to introduce the new project for deep and dark neurofunk / drum and bass from well known artists "Twisted" & "Rakoon". Both are members of the Dubstep Collective "Dutty Dubz" and got plenty releases on several labels under there belt. After founding the "Parasite" project in 2016 and earning support from people like Amoss, Kano and others, they are finally ready to share with the world the "Human Machine EP".

"Contruct" straight up introduces itself right away with that swinging off beat to get your head poppin , followed by dark bass and futuristic twisted leads to tickle the senses. At the center a dramatic pause with carefully constructed sounds around the whole spacial soundscape with high frequences for a momentary pause for the body before bringing it back with the intense drums and added swinging percussion to get you dancing.

German imprint Subplate are back with another deep, dark release and this time it's label boss Typecell at the controls for the appropriately titled 'Complex'. Drawing on the fine traditions of sci-fi imbued techstep, this one is all about the groove; tight drums, weird effects, and atmosphere up to eleven. Subplate Recordings proudly presents the return of Austria / Serbia based "Missing" on SUBPLATE-034 with some proper halftime magic. "Black Cat" (premiered on Noisia Radio) is a tune with hypnotizing warped out synths accompanied by low end frequencies drenched with hip hop swing. A subtle evolving groove with a glitched out vox to keep you locked in. "Stay Here" (premiered on DNBDojo) presents itself with an eerie dark atmospheric intro before dropping into its clever off beat percussive drum programming. Claps are the stronghold in this tune with its percussive lead coming in and out blending together to give its own unique flavor. * In celebration of the release we're also giving away a surprising free bonus tune called "Shrieks"
