The Funkrew is finally re-funktioning again after our funkmental cosmic trip through dimension 606 (parallel to dimension 909 aka the Solar Shirtem District). And as promised, here's a special delivery for your horny ears!

Unfortunately, the post-trip memory losses hit the Funkrew pretty hard and it is hard for us to recall our travels in a funkronological order... However, Funkrew member @funkeymono remembers the origin of this track as he was the only one able to communicate with the monkey-like inhabitants of exoplanet 303 – A world known to be a live replicombination of Planet of the Apes and Alice in Wonderland. To express our delight for their warm welcome, the Funkrew offered a FUNKYSHIRTS001 copy to their leaders, Cheech and Kong. Though, the Funkrew didn’t expect the record to provoke such a hysteria, that would then lead to the first ever recorded revolution in exoplanet 303. After weeks of battling, the whole planet started to lower their knees before the Funkrew which, from that moment on, was denominated the 69th Funkperor of Exoplanet 303.

This tune is the Earfunk-adapted recipe of a mysterious molecule made up of hostile atoms. The original recipe remains confidential and was just patented in our name so don't even funk about it. The government obliged us to make the Earfunk-friendly version publicly available though because it cures level 1-to-5 MZN demenfunktia and other brain disfunktions, so here it is: C20H25N3O

Keeping up his run of strong singles this year, Tommy Tickle makes his debut on Part Four Records with the 
release of ‘Trace’.  

The London-based DJ/producer is a renowned selector and popular ﬁgure in the city’s underground scene; 
hosJng his own events under the Menagerie brand, releasing his own tunes on Ad Hoc Records and 
Paradiso Records, as well as spinning alongside the likes of Gerd Janson, Melvo BapJste, and Demuja.  

But it's Tommy’s own producJons that are starJng to take that reputaJon even further, with the self-
released ‘AStude, Belief & DeterminaJon’ earning radio and club support from heavyweights like PAWSA, 
Horse Meat Disco, and Jaguar on BBC R1, as well as tastemaker blogs like Gazzz696 and Sloth Boogie.  

In ‘Trace’, Tommy takes a step away from his love of disco and demonstrates the deeper, darker side of his 
producJon. With a strong tribal inﬂuence and euphoric vocal, Tommy creates an atmospheric club driver 
that will ﬁll every corner of the main room.  

The ﬁrst of two releases with Part Four Records, ‘Trace’ is set for release on 20th November, and is sure 
mark another step forward for the young producer.
