In all seriousness, this was a hell of a project, and the first time I've ever attempted something this beefy. All in all, it took about... 3 weeks to complete? Somewhere around there. I'm sure a lot of these songs could be done better, and I may still go back and make changes and alterations and whatnot, but I think for now it's time for me to work on something else, something new, something different. Mega Man X3, you have quite the soundtrack. You've got your high points, and your low points, but overall, you're a damn good soundtrack.

I've wanted to cover this song pretty much since forever, but never thought I'd be able to. Then, somehow, I got it in my head that I could, so I did.

I may not be the foremost expert in all things Megaman music, but I would reckon that this song is probably just about the most well known Megaman X song, kinda like the Megaman 2 Wily Stage song is probably the most well known Megaman song. At least, that's what it feels like to me.

X Vs Zero

Something slightly different from my usual reliance on Gm, instead structured around the theory of cognitive dissonance - which is, put simply, the state of having conflicting thoughts, and behaviors.

Each hand is representative of hemispheres of the brain - both hands playing only singular notes, in significance to individual neurons, firing in synchronization.

The left hand stays only within triad chords and groupings, as the constant and uninterrupted flow of active synapse, and the more straight forward logic we associate with the 'left brain.'

The right hand, attempting to stay in harmony, but with the tendency to veer in its own, creative direction, as the 'right brain' will.

Each section is representative of another conflicting thought or action, eventually settling on a calmer, more contented ideology, with the occurrence of overlapping, to the final chord.
