It’s been a strange time (again) with good parties in short supply, and less opportunities to feel free and just let go. That’s why THIS was so special. On Oct 29th I played at an outdoor party in Miami called Hocus Pocus. It was a gorgeous night, miami air, humid, lasers in the sky…. And I felt…. FREE. I started a bit standard, but quickly started to loosen up and decided to just really play records I loved….. then when my set was over (2hrs) everybody looked at me and it was silently decided to just keep playing. Something I rarely do ( but I should) So the last hour or so… was just me having fun; Talking Heads records, Antony, Frankie Knuckles, old and new. Even a classic MOBY record believe it or not. It really was fun, and the kind of night where you go home happy and excited and in love.

Traxsource LIVE! #309 with Michael Gray - Artist Of The Year

Niels de Vlieger, a.k.a. TYRLL, is een jongeman van 26 uit Gullegem die, met iedereen die het horen wil, zijn passie voor house, disco en techno wil delen. Hij staat sinds z’n 16de achter de draaitafels en doorheen de jaren heeft hij zijn eigen, unieke sound gevonden. Een typische TYRLL-set? House music met disco-invloeden en heel wat onbekendere funky tracks.

Zijn gedurfde en eigenwijze platenkeuzes zorgden voor winst op Lotto Late Night (2016), waar hij de AB Club in Brussel mocht openen voor Feder en Compuphonic. In juli 2017 won hij ook de Tomorrowland DJ Contest van Studio Brussel. Dat bezorgde hem een plekje in de line-up van de openingsparty van Tommorowland, The Gathering. Verder kan hij ook Cirque Magique, Club Sondag en The Social Club op zijn naam schrijven.

TYRLL’s eerste track werd gereleased in 2016 op HOUSIFIED, and there is more to come!
