Whether or not "Heart Attack" is autobiographical, Demi Lovato is masterful at conveying the edgy emotion of the lyrics in the song and then soaring into a rousing chorus. While watching her as a judge in the most recent season of X Factor, it always seemed that Demi Lovato was just itching to get up onstage and show the audience and contestants what she could do. Now she has a single that is likely to draw the pop music spotlight to her talents with potential for the biggest pop hit of her career.

"Heart Attack" conveys the emotions connected with finally meeting someone who breaks through stoic defenses and exposes the human being hiding beneath the facade.
