Although the Tzeentch project was created in 2016, I have been involved with music for about 30 years. At the turn of the century, as a teenager, I explored mainly metal/numetal and, in parallel, quite unusually - techno, mainly thanks to the Berlin's Love Parade. In 2003, I came across a drum and bass party and fell completely in love with the genre, which absorbed me for years to come. In 2004, I went to study in the Tri-City, which opened the door to the best electronic music parties in Poland and I quickly became a part of the local club scene, helping to organize events. At the same time, I got to know genres such as dubstep, tekno, breakbeat, jungle and breakcore. Although I had been attending psychedelic festivals for some time (in 2008, I was at a Sectio Aurea performance in Poland), it was only in 2011 that I completely lost my mind after one of the events and from that moment on, my adventure with psychedelia began in earnest. Over the next few years, I traveled to festivals in Europe, getting to know the subculture, and at the same time changing my musical preferences - starting with forest, through hi-tech to psycore. 

In 2016, I decided to try my hand at the decks and that's how the Tzeentch project was created. Around that time, I started coming across tracks that differed from typical psycore in terms of complexity, multi-layeredness and lack of repeatability and predictability. I provisionally called this music "Experimental Psychedelic Music" (the same name as my YouTube channel where I uploaded videos recorded at festivals). In the same year, the Painted Chaos label was founded, which was intended to promote artists representing this emerging subgenre of psychedelia. Projects such as Audionimus, Enigmachina & Breakoacoustique have made their debut albums there as well as debut performance at Unity (Enigmachina). PCP tracks were also played by Goa Gil in his long dj sets around the globe.

Two years later, with a group of friends, we decided to organize the first edition of a new festival in Poland - Unity Gathering. From the beginning of the project, I was responsible for the concept, bookings (realized around 150), the music program and promotion. During the first edition, we wanted to balance the music and during the day we played easily digestible psy-trance aimed at the Polish audience (in Poland, the hit-tech scene has not even developed and practically no one listens to fast psychedelia), while at night I wanted to show these completely new sounds. However, after the event, the Polish participants said that after what they heard at night, they would never come back to Unity. We had to decide what to do next - whether to organize a festival for the Polish audience with classic psy-trance or go our own way promoting the music we are excited about, but with promotion to Europe. Of course, we chose the latter, took a bank loan and invited to the next edition of Sectio Aurea with 3 projects for 9 hours. And to our surprise, guests from Australia, among others, appeared at the event, which was a signal to me that it was definitely worth going in this direction in the future. And so we did for the next 2 editions. In 2022, we had a break for many reasons and at that time I took full command of the project. The 2023 edition was already 100% my idea and a preview of what awaits in 2024. And I won't write about last year's edition because I think most of you have already heard it :) 

Currently, for about two years I have been exploring mainly non-psychedelic experimental electronics, but I also like to refresh genres from time-to-time such as technoID, dubstep, or even electro-house. 

In the meantime, I also had a short adventure as a booking manager, cooperating with MachineCode (Current Value & Dean Rodell) among others. 

The current time is a moment of break from organization, focusing on different projects and gathering inspiration for a possible second round of creating events, possibly in a slightly different style. Time will tell.
