"My experience DJing on Maxa’s Art Car during my first Burning Man was, without a doubt, the most incredible moment of my DJ career. Leading up to it, I felt an intense pressure building with each day, a mixture of excitement and tension like nothing I’d ever experienced before. ¨Our set at the Mayan Warrior during Burning Man was a blast! It was our final performance of the week, and every ounce of inspiration we had gathered poured out in that moment. As we played through the night, surrounded by the iconic Mayan Warrior flames, we grooved and danced, letting the energy flow freely together with such an excited audience ! At one point, Thomas even climbed on top of the car to sing, feeling entirely at one with the crowd and the desert. The night was electric, a surreal experience. Thank you all for dancing and thank you Mayan Warrior.¨

This set was recorded during my opening slot in the iconic Pink Mammoth room at City of Gods Festival on Halloween Saturday in New York. If you missed it, imagine a packed dance floor buzzing with energy, filled with festive costumes, and a vibe so thick it makes your heart reverberate with every beat. I eased us in with a few soothing organic tracks before diving headfirst into dance-y stuff. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed playing it.

Playing on the Robot Heart bus at Burning Man is a dream I’ll never get tired of living. Robot Heart is a constant source of inspiration to me and so many others! Grateful for the opportunity to play on the bus again. 

This year (2024), my set time was Monday Morning at 7:00 am so I wanted to prepare something special for the beginning of an unforgettable week. 

I decided to play a live set filled with most of the Edits/Remixes I’ve made along the years (for example: Edits/Remixes I’ve made of Alice Coltrane, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Michelle Gurevich, Acid Pauli, Nicolas Jaar, Fred Again, etc…). 

I honestly couldn’t be happier with the result of this experiment!

Sainte Vie (Edits & Remixes Only Live Set) - Robot Heart - Burning Man 2024

Burning Man, Maxa, you are magic! This year marked my third time playing at the majestic Maxa deer, and every moment felt like a dream. This was a very special set for me, I opened with an excerpt of a piano piece composed by my mom, a deeply meaningful and personal tribute. It was also the debut of tracks from my upcoming album, including the closing song, “Sailing to the Moon,” a track that evokes the essence of the personal journeys we all embark on.

Throughout my musical journey, I’ve often reflected on my sonic identity. In this ongoing quest to define what Le Président sounds like, I truly feel like this set  embodies and represents my sound as it stands today.

This year, I also had the privilege of playing alongside underneath above the Maxa deer during Temple Burn, accompanying the incredible performances of Unders, Zohar, and Jac Hoja,  an unforgettable moment of profound connection.

Thank you for being part of this journey, and for allowing me to share these moments with you under the beautiful desert sky. 🌌✨

A heartfelt thanks to Neto, Marty, and the entire Maxa family for having me and making this experience unforgettable.

We have been working with the duo Chambord for quite some years but goodness they sure have landed in the perfect sound and vibe. We are obsessed with their own productions and track selection that perfectly launches our audience into pure madness. It was absolutely one of our favourite sets of the Night Sky events and for sure we want them back on our stage this year.
