HD is describing the inner conflict between the ego and the awareness that we all have within us.

The song is the argument that the ego and the Self are presenting for your ears. The argument ensues with the opening line that the Self states that it knows and sees everything.

Throughout the soundtrack, the Self questions why the ego goes about its ways, why it believes its own lies that it produces. Why it takes shape into our form and disguises itself with its host.

The ego does not take this conversation serious, continuously replying with a sarcastic cocky comment.

Tzu takes control of the conversation and takes you on a ride with his words.  

Recognize that you should not be led through life with your ego, but rather the Presence that is in the very present moment that we call reality.

"What a liberation to realize that the "voice in my head" is not who I am. Who am I then? The one who sees that."
