"Hier Encore," whose original French title translates as "Only Yesterday," is a song written by Charles Aznavour and released in September 1964.

It was subsequently released in English as "Yesterday, When I Was Young".
The English-language lyrics, written by Herbert Kretzmer, tell of a man reflecting on his life. He recounts how he had wasted his youth on self-centered pursuits, and that, now that he is older, he will not be able to do all that he had planned; this implies that he may be close to his impending death.

The Moon Song (Studio Version Duet) - Karen O featuring Ezra Koenig

This song was originally written in Los Angeles during our first tour in 2008. We were preparing for our performance at Show Cave night gallery and we had the pleasure to meet the owner, Eric Nordhauser. We spent the day at Show Cave recording and writing with Eric, Keenan and Hazel of Show Cave fame. Eric had a Sequential Circuts Prophet 5 and a Korg Electribe that we used to make this track, the housey sequence was already programmed in his sequencer. Kristy wrote the lyrics on the spot and it was all live, all 8 minutes of it. We recorded the audio with a VHS camera mic that was set up in the back of the gallery. That was the version that appeared on our 'Disaro' release of 2010.This newer, cleaner version is produced by Strange Powers. We are planning to release this as our first solo 7".

This new clean studio version was produced by our friend in Denver, Strange Powers. We really like the way this studio version of In Your Eyes sounds and we have started a kickstarter to cover most of the cost of having the track mastered for vinyl and to produce 200 copies of a 7". Amon Tobin occupies a peculiar position in the dance music firmament – a point where the gravitational forces of IDM, EDM, D’n’B and rather more hipster-friendly bass music balance one another out. He’s got every bit the production finesse, and often the weirdness, of WARP luminaries, he can also make some very deep and dark basement-friendly tunes – yet he is something of a rave superstar in the USA, and for The Six Rhythms EP he’s on Dutch loudness-warriors Noisia’s label Division. His Two Fingers guise was originally created for tracks with UK MC Sway, but it’s now an instrumental project. We won’t lie, the other tracks on this EP slide a bit far into stadium rave territory for us, but this one – a healthy dose of body-rocking warehouse electro – does the business and then some. It’s out on 22nd June – you can preorder on the Division site or iTunes.
