AE.WAI is a DJ from Brno, Czech Republic. He has garnered acclaim for his powerful and captivating techno sets, drawing deep inspiration from the sounds of the 90s. Fueled by a friend's local radio show dedicated to techno and house music, AE.WAI developed a strong passion for the genre. This passion led him to meticulously save money for and acquire his first turntables and mixer, marking the official start of his DJ journey. His distinct techno style is characterized by a fusion of groovy, hypnotic and raw elements.  As part of the Origin group, he regularly hosts nights at the iconic Czech underground clubs Perpetuum and Pul.Pit and is a familiar face at Maximal and Techno Thursdays. His musical journey has taken him to various European nations with standout performances in England's vintage warehouses. Currently, AE.WAI is rooted in the Czech Republic, deeply immersed in the underground music scene.

His real name is Martin Polak and his origins are from Přerov. Music has been his passion since he was a little kid as he comes from a large family of musicians, but he had no emotional attachment to musical instruments. Electronic music was his clear choice. He had his live project aka U-bend, with which he toured the entire Czech Republic. His passion is turntables and after 20 years of playing, he has finally found himself. In his sets expect experimental dark techno that won't leave you alone.
